If you are in telephone conversation and a second person tries to call you, you will

hear a beep.

If you want to answer a second call:

(1) Advise your first party, and

(2) Enter the

""CCaallll wwaaiittiinngg""

feature code (see Table of Codes).

To return to your first call:

(2) Enter the

""CCaallll wwaaiittiinngg""

feature code (see Table of Codes).

If you hang up without replying to the second call, your terminal will ring and

connect you.

To transfer a call:

(1) (to make a second, or consultation call), and when the second

party answers, advise that station user that you are transferring a call to them.

(2) Hang up, to complete the transfer

Notes : If you prefer, you can transfer the call without waiting to see if the second party

answers (even if their line is busy).

Depending upon your systems trunking service, transferring calls between two

outside lines may not be possible.
